Rossano, discovered his passion for cooking at a young age. At 19, he began working in his brother’s pizzeria, honing his skills as a pizzaiolo from 1989 to 1997. After exploring the culinary world in Germany and spending a summer in Ticino, Rossano worked in Bienne for 10 months, then in Peseux for around 6 years.
In 2006, Rossano seized an exciting opportunity when he took over La Pergola, an Italian restaurant in Marin. He introduced his own cuisine, skilfully combining traditional Italian flavours with international influences. Encouraged by the success of La Pergola, Rossano opened Chez Ross in 2017, bringing similar tried-and-tested dishes. Both restaurants have become must-visit destinations for local Italian food lovers.
In 2018, Rossano also launched “Mangia Rapido” at La Pergola, a fast-food concept that allows customers to eat efficiently and at a great price.
